Conferences & Professional Societies
The Biomedical Engineering department is active in many Professional Societies, including local, national and international societies in the sciences and engineering fields. At annual meetings or specialized conferences, we present our latest research findings, interact with international colleagues and collaborators, and stay current with the field to guide our educational programs. In addition, these meetings offer excellent opportunities for our current students (both graduate and undergraduates) to present their work and network to identify opportunities with future employers. We are always thrilled to connect with our alumni at these conferences, many of whom are making contributions to biomedical engineering in industrial or academic positions.
