Deb Contestabile Receives ACE Staff Award

Deb Contestabile received an AS&E ACE staff recognition award for the month of April 2023. Staff play a critical role to the success of AS&E and the University as a whole. ACE awards recognize staff that display the University’s visions and values. Awardees are nominated by faculty, staff, or students and the winners are chosen on the first of each month by the Dean of the Faculty.
Deb has only been with the Biomedical Department since August 2022, but has worked for the University of Rochester for over 20 years. She was nominated by her co-worker, Gina Eagan, Student Programs Assistant for the Biomedical Engineering Department.

Deb has been working on updating the BME website, social media accounts, and various department publications. She recently set up a LinkedIn Page for BME in an effort to help alumni keep in touch with current faculty and students.
